Gardena students lend a hand!

On Tuesday, Haiti experienced a devastating earthquake that left the country in ruins. This tragic event touched the hearts of all around the world. The students of Gardena HS were no exception. By Friday afternoon, the students of Gardena HS had collected $500 in donations to send to the Haitian people for medicine. This is enough for 750 people to receive 30 days of life saving drugs. These efforts were motivated through caring, teamwork, and generosity.

Money donated went to Doctors without Borders, an international medical humanitarian organization working in more than 60 countries to assist people whose survival is threatened by violence, neglect, or catastrophe.
