Readers in various lexiles

Materials Pertinent to Success (every student should have his/her own):

pens w/blue or black ink (at least three)
pencils (at least two)
composition book (dispatches, penmanship practice, and journal writing)
college-ruled lined paper (home- class work, essays, etc.)
two spiral notebooks for Cornell note taking and for Reader's/Writer's Notebooks

Behaviors Necessary for Success (every student is accountable):

regular attendance
preparedness (willing mind, completed tasks, materials)
respectful speech and actions (toward instructor, peers, and self)
respect for classroom rules and procedures
willingness to bear the consequences for poor behavior
