Teachers and staff have been meeting to design Professional Development plans based on the 5 Dimensions of Qualtiy Teaching. GHS Professional Development Plan Vision: Improve Teacher capacity with Professional Development ,which will results in Improved student achievement
Development Plan must focus on development in two or more of the California Educator Standards, must lead to verifiable professional growth (documented by evidence), and the effect of that professional growth upon student learning must be documented.
The Professional Development Plan:
• enhances an educator’s knowledge and skills in specific areas; • emphasizes collegial and collaborative dialogue; • encourages risk-taking, creativity, and experimentation; • must lead to increased proficiency in two or more of the California Standards; and
• must evidence, upon completion, the effect of professional growth upon Student learning. Below are all Professional Development Plans and the Rubric to approve the plans.
