The Global Leadership Academy combines two programs: the Foreign Language International Studies Magnet and the Southern California International Business Academy (SCIBA). Our mission is to challenge students to become 21st Century Citizens in a global society. Students in this academy will pursue careers in: - Corporations that do business in other countries - Stock market - Banking and finance- accounting - Business management - As interpreters for international companies - Entrepreneurship- owning your own business - Global Public Relations - Marketing and Sales Besides completing a rigorous curriculum that includes core academic, business, and global language courses, students in the Academy participate in various job shadowing, internship and mentoring experiences, as well as visits to numerous businesses in different industries.
